June Bell Freeman has been promoting Clan Bell in this part of the world
since 1986 when she founded CLAN BELL, Australia & New Zealand. Well
established in these two English speaking countries, CLAN BELL, Australia &
New Zealand is a non-profit organization of Scottish/English Border
descendants of the Family/Clan BELL (with some members being taken forcibly
to Ireland during Cromwellian times). Its main objective is to help educate
BELLS on the history of the Clan and assist its members in connecting up
with other branches of their families. In this area, the organization has
been most successful.
Current dues are $20 Aus. per annum payable at time of joining and
thereafter at the first month of the fiscal year. Dues cover annual
subscription, printing and postage of the "Carillon" newsletter. The
Carillon (which means a chiming of BELLS) is published three times a year.
